Finds from Grave of 13-14 Century- Noblewoman under Restoration

Ulaanbaatar, March 26, 2023 /MONTSAME/. In September 2022, a
team from the Research Center for Archeology of the National University of Mongolia,
headed by Doctor and Associate Professor T.Turbat, discovered and unearthed a grave of a noblewoman who lived in the 13th-14th century, on the territory of
Sukhbaatar aimag.
Currently, the restoration of the artifacts found in the tomb is being carried out by specialists from the Department of Conservation,
Protection, Technological Research and the Department of Restoration of the
National Center for Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture. Minister
of Culture Ms. Nomin worked at the National Cultural Heritage Center on March 23.
According to a census on immovable historic and cultural heritage, there are 1407 objects registered at 277 cultural sites on the territory of Sukhbaatar aimag.
