National Park to plant 110 thousand trees this autumn

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. National Park organized the autumn ‘National Tree Planting Day’ event during the weekend of 8-9 Oct 2022.
This year, the National Park will plant 20,000 seedlings by
gardening at the park for over years and 100,000 trees along the banks of Tuul
River by establishing forest protection strips in the frame of the One Billion
Trees national movement.
The park planted 10 thousand trees
during 'National Tree Planting Day.’ This autumn, it plans to produce 110
thousand trees with more than 50 organizations and 3000 individuals. During
this autumn tree-planting event, the National Park planted ten species, such as
mesquite, bird-cherry tree, almond apricot, gooseberry, maple, elm, yellow
acacia, hawthorn, and aspen.
