Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. June 14, 2021. Members of the State Great Hural Ms. Kh.Bulgantuya and Mr. D.Tsogtbaatar, representing the Mongolian Parliament, participated in an online discussion on “Improving Legislative Oversight of the Executive Branch” organized by the Democratic Partnership under the US House of Representatives.


June 15, 2021. Member of the State Great Hural and Chair of the Mongolia-Poland Parliamentary Group in the State Great Hural, Mr. B.Enkhbayar received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Mongolia Krzysztof Bojko.


June 15, 2021. The Standing Committee on Innovation and E-Policy heard reports of the working groups responsible for reviewing the implementation of projects and programs in the health and education sectors.


June 15, 2021. The Bank of Mongolia and the Asian Development Bank hosted a virtual meeting themed on “Recent developments in law and economic”, where the Chairman of the State Great Hural G.Zandanshatar addressed the opening ceremony.


June 15, 2021. The Standing Committee on Legal Affairs discussed the 19th and 20th reports issued by National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia.


June 15, 2021. The Standing Committee on Social Policy discussed the 2020 report of the National Health Insurance Council. After, it was agreed to discuss the draft resolution of the State Great Hural on "On measures to be taken to protect the security of the Mongolian gene pool and support population growth".


June 16, 2021. The Standing Committee on Economics agreed to discuss the draft resolution of the State Great Hural on “Approval of the Development Plan of Mongolia for 2022”. After, the bill on the “Virtual asset service provider and the accompanying draft laws” was agreed to discuss and introduce to the plenary session.


June 16, 2021. The Standing Committee on State Structure agreed to discuss a regulation on “Approval of the swearing-in ceremony of the President of Mongolia”. After, an amendment to the law on public holidays and celebrations. In this amendment, it was cited to celebrate a Book Day twice a year on the third weekend every May and September. Moreover, a State Great Hural Resolution on the establishment of an honorary medal for the 100th anniversary of the People's Revolution was agreed to discuss and introduce to the plenary session.


June 16, 2021. A working group established under the State Great Hural in collaboration with the Standing Committee on Economics organized a discussion on draft law on Permits. The discussion was attended by over 20 representative organs including the Bank of Mongolia, Financial Regulatory Commission, Cabinet Secretariat, Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism, and Ministry of Finance. The main concept of the bill is digitally to allocate coded permits and expected to proceed during the Autumn plenary session.


June 16, 2021. The Standing Committee on Education, Culture, Science and Sports discussed the revised law on Culture. It was the first hearing and agreed for further discussion.


June 17, 2021. At the morning plenary session of the State Great Hural, the “Approval of the Development Plan of Mongolia for 2022” was reviewed and transferred afiliated Standing Committee for further proceeding. After, a new regulation on “Approval of the swearing-in ceremony of the President of Mongolia” was ratified.


June 17, 2021. Mr.T.Ayursaikhan, Vice-Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, Chair of Mongolia-Turkey parliamentary group received H.E.Mr.Zafer Ates, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia.


June 17, 2021. At the afternoon plenary session of the State Great Hural, the bill on the “Virtual asset service provider and the accompanying draft laws” was agreed to discuss and transferred to the Standing Committee on Economics for further proceeding. Also, the draft resolution on "On measures to be taken to protect the security of the Mongolian gene pool and support population growth" was agreed to discuss and transferred for the first hearing. Moreover, an amendment to the law on public holidays and celebrations and the State Great Hural Resolution on the establishment of an honorary medal for the 100th anniversary of the People's Revolution was agreed to discuss and transferred for the first hearing. Besides, the revised law on Labor was reviewed and transferred for final hearing.


June 18, 2021. At the plenary session of the State Great Hural, the revised law on Culture was discussed and transferred for final hearing. After, the 19th and 20th reports issued by National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia were discussed.


June 18, 2021. Member of the State Great Hural, Minister of Finance, Mr. B.Javkhlan, submitted a draft resolution on “Approval of the 2020 Budget Execution of Mongolia” to the Chairman of the State Great Hural G.Zandanshatar.
