4.2 and 5.1 magnitude earthquakes recorded in Khankh soum

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Yesterday, at 00:42 and 03:46 am, two earthquakes were reported in Khankh soum, Khuvsgul aimag.
Specifically, a 5.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at 00:42 am and a 4.2 magnitude earthquake at 03:46 am of April 16 in a place called 'Khachim', according to the Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
Residents
of the soum felt a tremor but no damage has been recorded.
