Mongolia’s Ambassador meets President of International Turkic Academy

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolia’s Ambassador to the Republic
of Kazakhstan L.Battulga met with President of the International Turkic Academy
D. Kydyrali on September 3.
During the meeting, Mr.Kydyrali briefed on the progress and
results of the joint projects being implemented together with Mongolia’s cultural,
educational and scientific organizations and some new books published by the Mongol
Studies Center under the academy.
Presentations of
Mongolists at the conference in dedication to the 750th anniversary
of Golden Horde, and three-volume ‘A Compendium of Chronicles’ by famous
historian Rashid al-Din, published by the International Turkic Academy in collaboration
with Mongolian National Museum significantly contributes to the enrichment of historical
sources and facts, highlighted Ambassador Battulga.
Mr.Kydyrali expressed his sincere gratitude to Mongolian scholars who are collaborating in the projects implemented within the framework of the 1300th anniversary of the Tonyukuk monument, 800th anniversary of the foundation of Kharkhorin- the capital of Great Mongolian Empire, 750th anniversary of the Golden Horde and 175th anniversary of famous Kazakh poet and writer Abai Kunanbaiuly.
The two sides also exchanged views on future cooperation and joint celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic
of Kazakhstan, the 100th anniversary of the People's Revolution of Mongolia and
the 2230th anniversary of the Xiongnu Empire to be marked next year.
