More rain and thunderstorms expected

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected throughout the country on July 28, and eastern parts of western aimags, northwestern parts of central aimags, and eastern parts of eastern aimags on July 29.
Rain is also expected in some parts of western aimags and western parts of central aimags on July 30, in some parts of western and central aimags on July 31, and throughout the country on August 1 and 2.
Wind speed will be 6-11 m/sec during the days, with winds reaching 14-16 m/sec before rainfall on July 31, August 1 and 2.
With slight temperature drops expected in the western region from July 28 to 31, in the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, and Khuvsgul, near Khurenbelchir, in the head of Zavkhan river, in the basin of Terelj river, the temperature will range from +4 to +9 degrees Celsius during the night, and +16 to +21 during the day.
In the Gobi region, the temperature will be +16 to +21 during the night, and +30 to +35 during the day.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be +12 to +17 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +25 to +30 degrees Celsius. Temperature drops are expected in most parts of the country on August 1 and 2.
