Training underway to prepare globally competent blockchain developers

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Within the framework of the memorandum established between the Information and Technology Authority of Ulaanbaatar city, Mongolian Blockchain Association and INPUT OUTPUT Company, Haskell programming language training, which has a goal to educate globally competent blockchain developers, officially kicked off on July 20. A total of 25 youths out of registered around 300 students and specialists of information technology have been selected in the training.

Deputy Head of Information and Technology Authority of Ulaanbaatar city B.Bat-Erdene emphasized that the city authorities are planning to carry out numerous projects on making citizens’ living environment safe with the help of smart solution and technology-based services and provide possibilities to receive state service online and that collaboration with these youths being involved in the training in the future is open within this goal.  

Haskell programming language gives basic skills to work in blockchain, cyber security, artificial intelligence and big data analytic sectors. Companies such as Facebook, Google, Intel, Microsoft use the Haskell language in their complex system and programs.

The Haskell programming language training are being instructed by Director of Education of INPUT OUTPUT Company, Doctor of Mathematics, Ph.D Lars Bruenjes and Doctor of Computer Science Ph.D Polina Vinogradova. Prior to this, the training has been successfully conducted in countries such as Argentina, Ethiopia and Mexico.
