Construction of new Mongol Aspiration School kicks off
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On April 1, construction of new building of the Mongol Aspiration International School with a capacity of 640 students commenced in the 26th subdistrict of Bayanzurkh district. Officials of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, and Sports led by Deputy Education Minister G.Ganbayar attended the groundbreaking ceremony, wishing success to the construction workers.
The new school is set to open on September 1. Construction
of School No. 133 with a capacity of 920 students began last year in the highly
centralized 26th subdistrict. A 320-bed kindergarten will also be built
near the two schools.
Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, and Sports plans
to construct over 40 new school buildings nationwide this year. 15 of them are currently under
construction with foreign grants.
