NEMA official participates in Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization’s meeting

/MONTSAME/ Specialist of the Spatial Information and Technology Division of the
National Emergency Management Agency Ts.Byambatsogt took part in the Final
Acceptance Review Meeting on Data Sharing Service Platform Phase II of the Asia-Pacific
Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) at APSCO Headquarters in Beijing China
on December 17-20.
At the
meeting, 20 representatives from 8 countries including Mongolia, Iran, Peru,
Thailand, Turkey and Argentina exchanged views on the Data Sharing Service
Platform.
The platform
gives an opportunity to use data from four satellites of Mongolia and China and
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data of an Argentinian satellite for reducing
disaster risk, conducting various hematic studies.
