Scientific conference takes place on Outcome-based Education

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The fifth scientific conference under the theme, ‘Outcome-based education 2019 - CDIO’, was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, the Higher Education Reform Project funded by ADB, and various national universities on December 5.
Most of the countries are using the ‘Outcome-based Education’ concept in the changes being made in the structure and content of curriculum, methodology, and assessment system in the framework of higher education reform. Mongolia is also working to develop the education system by adapting it to the country’s unique conditions and features as well as considering other factors.
Presentations on topics such as introducing the methodology and technology of outcome-based education, renewal, development, enhancement, and stabilization of methodologies in higher education, renewal of curriculum, and improving class assessment were done by 34 university professors and scholars at the conference.
