Deputy Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg attends Ministerial Meeting of Non-Aligned Movement

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg attended Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement that took place on October 24 in Baku, Azerbaijan where she expressed Mongolia’s foreign policy objectives in her address.
Mentioning Mongolian Government’s efforts for achieving Sustainable Development Goals, Deputy Minister B.Battsetseg expressed gratitude to members of the Non-Aligned Movement on backing up and cooperating in issues such as rural women, literacy education, democratic education and role of cooperatives in social development, raised by Mongolia at the international arena.
Then the Deputy Minister presented actions being taken by the Mongolian government including Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on Northeast Asian Security and International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries. While praising organization of the First Non-Aligned Movement’s Youth Summit, she also reported about the first regional seminar under the topic ‘Youths in Northeast Asia: Peace and Security’ that took place in Ulaanbaatar city in June 2019.
