Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Rain is expected in the eastern part of western aimags, and in most parts of the aimags in the central, Gobi, and eastern region on August 20, while thunderstorms are expected in some parts of western and central aimags, and in the eastern part of eastern aimags on August 21.
Temperature will drop in most parts of the country on August 20.
In mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentei, in the basins of Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon and Ulz rivers, the night-time temperature will range from 0 to +5 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +13 to +18.
In the southern gobi region, the temperature will be +15 to +20 during the night, and +25 to +30 during the day.
In other areas, the nighttime temperature will be +7 to +12 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +19 to +24 degrees Celsius. Temperature is expected to rise in the western region from August 21.
