Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. A proposal of partnership to Zvezda, the Russian nationwide TV network run by the Russian Ministry of Defense, at the initiation of the Director General of Mongolian National Broadcaster (MNB) L.Ninjjamts has been accepted. Thus, as according to the agreement, the working group of the two parties held a video conference on May 23 with participation of General Producer of Zvezda TV Network B.G.Yanovsky.

Previously, a team led by the Director General of MNB visited the TV network on February 21-25 to sign a memorandum of cooperation, discussing the projects they will be working on in the frameworks of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of Khalkh Gol Battles.

The documentary will depict the harsh times in the year of 1939–how the political and border dispute between Mongolia and Manchukuo became the collision of the armies of USSR, Mongolia and Japan. It will also show the crucial measures that were taken during the Khalkh Gol Battle, the geopolitics of the time, the tactical and military capacity as well as the bravery and decisions of the leaders of the defense sector.

The film crews of the two sides are currently working to create a documentary that has never been done before on the occasions of the previous anniversaries. From the Mongolian side, Director General of MNB L.Ninjjamts will work as the general producer with M.Erdenebat as the producer and advisor and G.Enkhtur as the director of the film.
