South Korea to partner in purifying the water of Khangal river

Orkhon /MONTSAME/. The Governor’s Office of Orkhon aimag will be partnering with ‘Mongolian Hao Bio’ company of Republic of Korea, on several issues, such as purifying the water of Khangal river, reducing the white dust of the Erdenet Mining Corporation and producing fertilizers with the dust.
The company is not only giving over 3,000 tree seedlings to reduce white dust and air pollution, but also have 1,000 citizens living in dusty areas be involved in medical check-ups.
In 2018, the source of the pollutants in Khangal river was found by officials, and considered it necessary to take urgent measures.
