Eight new school buildings to be built in 2019

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On April 4, the Governor’s Council of the Capital City discussed the issue of the capital city’s investment in the education sector in 2019, which will be funded from the state budget.
Of the total of 44 school and kindergarten buildings to be built this year, the rights to make the purchases for 31 educational buildings, which include 7 schools, 2 school gyms, 21 kindergartens, one elementary school and kindergarten complex, were given to the capital city.
Governor S.Amarsaikhan said, “District governors should visit the construction sites of the school and kindergarten buildings to become acquainted and meet with the executives of the construction companies. In the future, permissions must be only given to large apartment complexes with schools and kindergartens in its plans.
He then obliged the corresponding officials to accurately set the coverage areas for schools and kindergartens, accelerate investment and solve the issues of schools that are working triple shifts.
