Chairwoman of NSO to chair PARIS21 Board

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Chairwoman of the National Statistical Office A.Ariunzaya has been elected to chair the Partnership in Statistics for Development in the 21st Century (PARIS21) at the 2019 PARIS21 Board Meeting, which took place in Paris, France on April 3.


With 54 members, the board consists of executives of the statistical organizations from all regions, UN agencies as well as international financial organizations.


The PARIS21 was founded by the United Nations, the European Commission, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank to promote, facilitate statistical capacity development in policy-making and strengthen statistical organizations in 1999.
