Non-mining export to be increased

/MONTSAME/ Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar, Minister of Food, Agriculture and
Light industry Ch.Ulaan and the officials of the two ministries held a meeting
to exchange views on cooperation opportunities within the Government policy on
economic diversification, export increase of non-mining products and expansion
of foreign market.
The sides agreed to further increase meat exports, focus on adding value and pay special attention to the exports of dairy and new organic products.
Moreover, the parties emphasized the need to upgrade the veterinary system with international standards and improve the technology and equipment for meat, dairy, leather, wool and cashmere production. As a result of the meeting, the ministries agreed to implement a joint plan on the increase of non-mining exports.
