Khovd aimag and Datong city to develop cooperation

of Citizens’ Representatives Khural of Khovd aimag G.Purevgandi and Deputy
Governor T.Jargalsaikhan paid a working visit to Datong city in Shanxi Province of the People’s Republic of China before the New Year.
In the frameworks of the visit, Mongolia-China economic cooperation forum and expo were held. While launching friendly cooperation with Datong city, the delegation learnt experiences on air pollution reduction, waste recycling and developing city landscape and green area in combination with the nature.
The sides also
agreed to develop cooperation for a long period in the spheres of infrastructure, construction,
animal husbandry, trade and tourism as well as to jointly realize projects on paved road and power supply, reducing air pollution, improving lighting of the
city and establishing animal-origin raw material processing plant and the parties signed a memorandum.
Specialists in
industry, trade, tourism and landscaping from Datong city in Shanxi province
will come at the beginning of 2019 to make studies on smog mitigation and lighting
and green area and to establish cooperation agreement.
