Mongolian and Russian rescuers hold joint training in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The National Emergency Management Agency of Mongolia and the Main Office for the Trans-Baikal Territory of the Ministry of Emergency of the Russian Federation are cooperating in prevention of natural disasters and risks in the border areas of Mongolia and Russia.


According to their jointly formulated plan, the NEMA branch in Dornod aimag and the Russian Emergency Ministry have organized a training themed ‘Crossing the border with facilitated regulation during in border area and cross-border forest and steppe fires’ in Chuluunkhoroot soum, Dornod aimag.


During the training, the two parties introduced each other their fire-extinguishers and machinery for forest and steppe fires. Moreover, about 30 Mongolian and Russian firemen held a joint training on extinguishing fire.
