Distance diagnosis center opened at General Hospital for State Special Servants

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The General Hospital for State Special Servants (GHSSS) opens Telemedicine Center or Distance Diagnosis Center today, on July 25.
 
The center  established within the framework of cooperation between GHSSS and Kosin University Gospel Hospital (KUGH) of the Republic of Korea with investment of USD 50 thousand made by Busan City Administration and KUGH.
 
The center provides opportunities to introduce advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, to share practices between doctors and specialists, to send patients to Korea for treatment whose illness cannot  be cured in Mongolia or to render hospital assistance and service to customers who have willingness to undergo treatment in Korea as well as to provide patients with post-treatment examination and consultation services.

“The center opens possibilites for us not only to communicate using video but also mutually exchange customers’ data and run discussions. Some of state special servants work in very remote areas such as state border area. The center will provide them possibility to get advice and medical assistance from doctors by sending their information to the center. Currently the center has connection with KUGH. In future, we will install equipment to connect with all border areas with support of the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs” said GHSSS Director L.Battur.
 
KUGH Professor Seo Kyung Won noted that they will support development of Mongolian hospitals through the center by sharing experiences from Korean doctors, training and empowering doctors and specialists."
 
In addition, a team comprised of 60 doctors from Busan city will work in GHSSS on September 25, 2018, making check-ups and giving advices to customers free of charge.
