Asian Open Ground Golf Tournament to be held at ‘Chingisiin Khuree’

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The first Asian Open Ground Golf Tournament will be held at ‘Chingisiin Khuree’ camp on June 29-30, according to the National Ground Golf Association of Mongolia.

Today, a number of ground golf enthusiasts has increased dramatically in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, USA, China, Poland, Russia, Hungary and Mongolia.

The sport was developed in the town of Yurihama in Japanʼs Tottori Prefecture in 1982. It has a unique features such as simple rules, no time limit, no age limit, unlimited number of players and easy preparation of the field, and is rapidly spreading.

A total of 410 people including 240 people from the UB districts, 100 from 10 aimags and 70 from 12 foreign countries will participate in the tournament.
