Foreign Minister appeals US investors to invest Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ During his visit to the United States on May 18-22, Mongolia’s Foreign Affairs Minister D.Tsogtbaatar held a meeting with American investors in Washington D.C.
At the meeting, the Minister introduced about Mongolia’s present investment condition and government measures for attracting investment, creating more reliable and stable investment environment and protecting interest of the investors and responded to questions interested by the investors.
D.Tsogtbaatar highlighted Mongolia’s natural resources, location between world’s two largest markets, easy to join to regional economic integration, democracy and open society, its establishment of legal system that respects human rights as well as highly literate and educated population. He said that investing Mongolia would open market opportunities to its two neighbors and the region.
Present at the meeting were representatives from over 30 companies that are operating in Mongolia and interested in investing.
