Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Cabinet made following decisions at its regular meeting on April 4.

The Cabinet appointed B.Gankhuyag, First Deputy Director in charge of Production of Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi JSC as Acting CEO of the company in connection to CEO D.Ariunbold’s transfer to another job.

The Cabinet resolved to supply Ointment of Pancypsin, a home-made product, to Russia as a humanitarian aid to the victims of Kemerovo fire.

The Cabinet backed a draft Loan Agreement for the Ulaanbaatar Air Quality Improvement Programme. The Programme will be carried out with USD 130 million loan from the Asian Development Bank. The 15-year loan has three-year moratorium. 20 measures will be taken within the Programme.

The Cabinet inserted hearing and speech and language impairment conditions in the Provision 10 of the document ‘Amount of Some Benefits from the Social Welfare Fund and Aids Rendered to Elders and the Disabled'.

The Cabinet discussed a draft Bill on Limiting Loan Interest Rate and Fighting Against Loansharking, and agreed to relay a few recommendations to the initiator, MP S.Erdene.

The Cabinet reviewed the implementation of the 2016-2019 action plan within the United Nations Human Rights Council recommendations. The corresponding Ministers were assigned to execute all actions that have been delayed or haven’t been launched within this year.

The Cabinet backed Mongolia’s joining in the 1907 Convention on Pacific Settlement of International Disputes, and decided to submit to the Parliament a Bill on Ratification of the Convention.

The Cabinet backed a draft Bill on Ratification of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and decided to submit it to the Parliament after reflecting recommendations made by the members of the Cabinet.

The Cabinet adopted a National Programme on Development of Mongolian Studies.

The Cabinet backed an Intergovernmental Agreement on Enhancing Industrial Capacity and Investment Cooperation between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the People’s Republic of China. Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar was authorized to sign the agreement.
