Mongolian mountaineers summit Mt.AconcaguaSociety
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A group of five mountaineers headed by State Honored Athlete G.Usukhbayar successfully reached the summit of Aconcagua Mountain elevated 6962 metres above sea level on February 1.
Mountaineer G.Usukhbayar who had conquered Everest several times, summited first time Mount Aconcagua on February 10, 2017.
G.Usukhbayar emphasized that it was the preparation for him to conquer K2 Mountain, which is at 8,611 metres above sea level.
Although he attempted to conquer the Savage Mountain in 2017, he couldn’t continue his climbing due to the weather condition and guide problems, and stopped his ascent after reaching the height of 6450 metres.
