Mongolia to collaborate with Japan in training Olympic athletes

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sport Ts.Tsogzolmaa received Monday Seiji Kihara, Member of the House Representatives and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan and Masaru Fujino, Mayor of Musashimurayama city of Tokyo. They exchanged views on the Mongolia-Japan ties and cooperation in physical culture and sport.

The sides discussed issues of training of Mongolian athletes in Japanese cities for taking part in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, exchanging athletes and coaches, organizing joint exercises, preparing specialists on physical and sport medicine and sharing experiences in sport clinics and rehabilitation treatment.

Seiji Kihara noted about broadening of the bilateral cooperation in the educational and sport spheres and said he aspires to expand the collaboration between youths through physical culture and sports and will work out a long-term program on comprehensive partnership.
