Harvesting progress at 91 percent nationwide

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to a recent yield report, 212.0 thousand tons of grain, 112.7 thousand tons of potatoes, 73.2 thousand tons of vegetables, 35.6 thousand tons of fodder plants and 9.1 thousand tons of oil plants have been harvested. It means that the nationwide harvesting going at 91 per cent, reported the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry.
The 2017 spring sowing covered 524.3 thousand hectares nationwide. The grain was sown in 393.6 thousand hectares, of which wheat in 367.2 thousand hectares, potatoes in 14.9 thousand hectares, vegetables in 7.5 thousand hectares, oil plants in 78.2 thousand hectares, fodder plants in 28.2 thousand hectares as well as herbal plants in 1.9 thousand hectares.
