Mongolian Innovation Week-2017 to be marked

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, Ulaanbaatar Department of Industry and Innovation, Mongolian Foundation for Science and Technology and Mongolian University of Science and Technology will co-organize Mongolian Innovation Week-2017” from May 8 to 14.
The event aims to promote knowledge economy by way of spreading knowledge about innovation in the all areas of society and economy of Mongolia and engraining creative mindset and innovation culture, give impetus to the full realization of goals to become an industrialized country from a consumer economy. The innovation week will ensure a broad participation, involving universities, academic and business organizations, manufacturers, public and private sectors, non-government organizations and professional associations.

In the scope of the innovation week, a discussion themed "Science-education-public-private partnerships" will take place on May 9 at the Citizen’s Hall of the State House, during which participants will discuss about opportunities of partnership and innovative cooperation among public and private sector, universities and academic organizations and will issue a recommendation.
In addition, on May 10, open exhibition of Innovation and national forum on innovation will take place at the central square of Ulaanbaatar and in the State House and on May 11-12, an international academic conference “ICIED-2017” and young researchers' academic conference “BPA-2017” will be organized.
On May 12-14, “START-UP WEEKEND” for young entrepreneurs is expected to take place.
