CPI declines in July
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In July of this year, the National Consumer Price Index (CPI) decreased by 0.6% against the previous month, but increased by 2.3% from beginning of the year, by 0.9% compared to same period of the previous year.
In July 2016, the CPI increased by 0.3-1.0% in Arkhangai, Bulgan, Uvs and Selenge aimags, whereas it declined by 0.1-1.6% in other aimags against June. The CPI decreased in July by 1.0% in Ulaanbaatar against June, but increased by 1.6% against end of 2015, and by 0.1% against the previous year.
Prices of 11.8% of 329 kinds of products in consumer basket went up, 13.1% of the products declined, and 75.1% of the goods were stable in July 2016.
