‘Tavan Tolgoi Railway’ company established
During the Cabinet’s regular meeting on July 9, it was decided to establish the Tavan Tolgoi Railway company with at least 51 percent of state ownership. The license and investment for construction of the Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhait route railway will be transferred from the ‘Mongolian Railway’ to the newly established company.

On the occasion of the 2227th anniversary of the Statehood, 812th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, 107th anniversary of Restoration of Independence, 97th anniversary of the People’s Revolution, 29th anniversary of the Democratic Revolution, and the Mongolian traditional celebration of Naadam festival, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga issued a decree to grant the “Hero of Mongolia”, “People’s” and “Honored” titles, and state orders and medals.

Tourism Ministers Meeting of Mongolia, Russia and China starts
The Third Tourism Ministers Meeting of Mongolia, Russia and China started today, on July 9. Minister of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia N.Tserenbat, relevant officials led by the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city S.Batbold, over 60 representatives led by the Vice Chairman of China National Tourism Administration Du Jiang and about 20 representatives led by Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism at the Ministry of Culture of Russia Nikolay Vadimovich Korolev are participating in the two-day meeting.
