MP D.Lundeejantsan meets representatives of IRI

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/D.Lundeejantsan, MP and head of Parliamentary Standing Committee on State Structure met today with delegates headed by Graig Castagna, who has been appointed as representative of the International Republican Institute (IRI) to Mongolia.
MP D.Lundeejantsan congratulated Mr Graig Castagna n his appointment, highlighting the fact that the Parliament of Mongolia has long-term cooperation with the IRI in improving parliamentary ethics, power in governance and electoral system.
In turn, Mr Graig Castagna delivered information on the IRI backed projets and programs in Mongolia.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on strengthening parliamentary oversight role and the ways to develop true democracy.
