Gobi-Altai /MONTSAME/ On January 28, Governor of Gobi-Altai aimag V.Rentsendorj held an official meeting with Ambassador of Turkey to Mongolia Ahmet Yazal.
At the meeting, the sides mutually exchanged views on potential projects and programs to be jointly implemented in Gobi-Altai aimag.
Expressing his gratitude to Ambassador A.Yazal and the people of Turkey, Governor V.Rentsendorj underlined that constructions carried out in Gobi–Altai aimag with investment and assistance of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) were effective. Furthermore, the Governor requested to cooperate in retraining and studying teachers and physicians who are working in remote soums, in Turkey as well as improving service and training quality of schools and hospitals.
The sides agreed with cooperation opportunities of developing other sectors than mining, for example, receiving trainees from the Republic of Turkey to develop handicrafts, craftsman, carpentry and stone carving, conducting short and mid-term training as well as connecting entrepreneurs and boosting tourism.
