Discussion held for first draft of education sector master plan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. A discussion was organized to publicly introduce the first draft of the education sector master plan for 2021-2030 developed by the ADB project, ‘Supporting the Development of an Education Sector Master Plan’, and receive suggestions and comments on November 29.
Various matters such as the method to develop the new citizens of Mongolia and the world, artificial intelligence technology, the fourth industrial revolution, ways to prepare skilled, creative professionals and specialists that meet the requirements and labor demand for green development and economy through higher education institutions, and research universities were considered in the draft based on the concept of lifelong education and sustainable development.
The discussion was attended by MPs, officials of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, National Development Agency, and the National Statistical Office as well as representatives of international donor organizations, teachers, researchers, and parents.
