Mongolian youth taking part in Model UNESCO Mongolia Conference

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. A Model UNESCO Mongolia Conference 2019 is taking place today at UN House in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Being co-organized by
Mongolian National Commission for UNESCO, UN Youth Advisory Panel and UNESCO
Beijing Office, representatives from UNESCO member states are presenting
national statements on global pressing issues, introducing their studies
and research and holding general debate. It is helpful to develop their
lecturing skills and improve their knowledge on the Sustainable Development
Goals, emphasized S.Uyanga, Secretary General of the Mongolian National
Commission for UNESCO.
The discussed issues by Mongolian youths will be reflected in the UNESCO’s programmatic priorities in the fields of education, culture and science to be implemented in the coming years, highlighted S.Uyanga.
The fifth year forum is featured with being organized as Model
UNESCO Conference.
Mr. Frederick Russell
Rivoallan, Head of Social and Human Sciences, UNESCO Beijing Cluster Office,
said “It provides youth to be a part of Model UNESCO to discuss global issues.
Secondly, it is significant for youth to improve their skill to take part in
multilateral cooperation. Thirdly, Mongolia is contributing to spread and develop
Model UNESCO Conference.”
