NEMA officer participates in UN ESCAP dialogue

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Senior officer at the Disaster Management Department of the National Emergency Management Agency, Major Ch.Lkhamjav is participating in the Expert Dialogue on Scaling Up Regional Cooperation in Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems in Asia-Pacific with a focus on flood and drought, which is organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok, Thailand between August 26 and 29.
Alongside introducing the measures being taken in the framework of disaster management and sharing their experiences, the dialogue participants are also be discussing accessible comprehensive announcement systems that are efficient in reducing disaster risks and taking immediate actions.
