Health Ministry to cooperate with National Tuberculosis Association of South Korea
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Health Minister D.Sarangerel and MP O.Baasankhuu, who are members of the ‘Tuberculosis-free Mongolia’ parliamentary lobby group that was established two years ago, got acquainted with activities of the Korean National Tuberculosis Association (KNTA) and established a cooperation agreement with the association.
According to the agreement, the two sides will collaborate in building a new tuberculosis hospital, training professionals, carrying out projects on early detection of tuberculosis, and raising public awareness of the disease.
During the signing of the agreement, Minister D.Sarangerel and Kyung Man-ho, President of the Korean National Tuberculosis Association, voiced their readiness to work together for ‘Tuberculosis-free Asia’.
