Head of City Council meets ROK Ambassador

/MONTSAME/ Head of the Citizens’ Representative Khural of the capital city (City
Council) R.Dagva met with Ambassador of the Republic of Korea (ROK) to Mongolia Jeong
Jae Nam. The two sides exchanged views on further actions to be taken while emphasizing
the expansion of bilateral friendly relations and intensification of
cooperation in various fields.

Jeong Jae Nam said actions are being taken to support the fight against air
pollution and tourism development in Ulaanbaatar and highlighted that he is
paying special attention to the matter of offering Mongolians short-term
employment in ROK at the request of the Ulaanbaatar city administration.
For his
part, Mr. R.Dagva informed that an economic zone is being established in
Ulaanbaatar and showed his willingness to cooperate in this regard. He also
spoke of the goal of developing the capital city through two main sectors,
tourism and advanced technology. At the end of the meeting, they agreed to collaborate
on establishment of a major IT Park in Ulaanbaatar.
