Mongolia-China border checkpoints to close today

/MONTSAME/ Mongolia-China border checkpoints will close today, December 29.
According to Article 4.3 of the 2004 Governmental agreement between Mongolia and the People’s Republic of China on Border Checkpoints and their Procedures, border checkpoints will be closed during national holidays.
Today, December 29 marks the 107th anniversary of the Restoration of National Freedom and Independence of Mongolia and the southern border checkpoints will not work.
However, international air and rail travels will be conducted on usual
schedules.
