81 students approved to study in Japan
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 25th meeting of the steering
committee of Higher Engineering Education Development Project, being jointly
implemented by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports and the Japan
International Cooperation Agency (JICA), was held on December 25.
At the meeting, names of the students who will study in
Japan from next April under the joint Bachelor program and the KOSEN program as
well as teachers and researchers to study in Japan in the first quarter of
2019 within non-degree program and guest researcher program were approved. 30
out of 34 students who sat an exam for KOSEN program and 51 out of 75 examinees
for joint Bachelor program were selected. Moreover, the meeting amended some
decisions made from the previous meeting and discussed 2018 report and 2019
action plan.
