Closing meeting of PROCESS project takes place
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The 6th meeting of the project administration committee for the joint project implemented by the Government of Mongolia and JICA, Project for Child Centered Education Supports (PROCESS), took place at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports.
In the framework of the project, which has been implemented since 2016, a methodology to create a 10-year plan to draft, develop, assess and improve the educational curriculum on the national level, was created by experts of correlating organizations, such as Institute of Teacher’s Professional Development, Mongolian Institute for Educational Research and Education Evaluation Center.
At the meeting, the project results as well as problems that need to be solved and measures to be taken in the future were discussed.
Head of the project administration committee, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports B.Bayarsaikhan highlighted that the realization of the methodology will be highly prioritized and noted that a national committee will be created without any delay as the first step.
The meeting was attended by State Secretary of the Ministry B.Bayarsaikhan, Head of the General Education Policy Department at the Ministry T.Nyam-Ochir, Director of International Projects at the Ministry T.Uuganbayar as well as Expert of PROCESS Project Fukuo Tomohiro, Third Secretary of the Embassy of Japan Matsuhashi Tomoyuki and Educational Policy Development Expert at JICA Fujita Erika.
