Mongolian Junior Athletes Win 22 Medals at 11th International Children’s Games

Ulaanbaatar, September 26, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 11th International Children’s Sports Games is taking place in the cities of Baotou and Bayannur in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China.
From Mongolia, 125 athletes are competing in nine sports under the guidance of 21 coaches. As of the first two days of the competition, Mongolian junior athletes have won 22 medals in taekwondo, freestyle wrestling, and judo. These include 13 gold, five silver, and four bronze medals.
Taekwondo athletes have claimed three gold medals, freestyle wrestlers four, and judokas six. Meanwhile, the table tennis team has earned two bronze medals. The competition will continue until September 28, 2025.
