T. Enkhjin Wins Bronze at World Wrestling Championships

Ulaanbaatar, September 18, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 2025 Senior World Wrestling Championships are taking place in Zagreb, the Republic of Croatia, from September 13 to 21.
In the women’s 65 kg class, Enkhjin Tuvshinjargal, member of the national team and two-time silver medalist at the Asian Championships, defeated U.S. wrestler Macey Ellen Kilty, World Championship silver and bronze medalist and two-time Pan-American champion, 4-2 to win the bronze medal. This marks Mongolia’s third medal at the Zagreb-2025 World Championships, overall 82nd medal, and 46th bronze medal.
The Mongolian team ranked 11th in the team standings. Japan leads in terms of the number and quality of medals, followed by the United States of America, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
