“The Secret History of Chinggis Khaan’s Espionage” Presented to Readers

A joint work of researchers Soyombo Javkhlantsaikhan and Tuvshintur Javkhlantsaikhan, who analyzed the “Secret History of the Mongols” from the perspective of intelligence studies, entitled “The Secret History of Chinggis Khaan’s Espionage” has been presented to readers.
According to the researchers, “The Secret History of the
Mongols” is not only a historical source but also a rare and valuable source
containing profound theories and practices of intelligence. Researcher Soyombo noted, “ "The Secret History of the Mongols” is our precious heritage.
If one reads it from a non-historical perspective, the 13th-century
intelligence management and lessons from the strategy are useful even today.”
Various methods and operations of intelligence can be revealed
in the events, characters, and strategic moves, reflected in the “Secret
History of the Mongols,” according to the researchers. This publication is considered the first work
that attempts to discover the “Secret History of the Mongols” from the point of
intelligence studies.
