Mongolian citizens being evacuated from foreign countries

Upon the decisions of the Government and the State Emergency Commission, two charter flights of MIAT Mongolian Airlines in route Seoul-Ulaanbaatar and Berlin-Moscow-Ulaanbaatar landed on March 15 and 16 respectively at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport.


A total of 50 citizens who are in need of medical assistance and services in priority such as those who received operation and have severe illness have been isolated in the Military Central Hospital under medical observation, and another 10 citizens, who arrived from the cities of Busan and Daegu of the Republic of Korea have been put into isolation at the National Center for Communicable Disease respectively, while others have been transported to temporary isolation accommodations. 


Officials and specialists of the General Agency for Authorized Inspection, the National Center for Communicable Diseases, the National Emergency Management Agency, and the National Police Agency worked at the airport for decontamination and transportation of the citizens.


The luggage of the citizens will be decontaminated and delivered after two weeks.
