‘Local Solution Fund’ helps to change toilet
Видео‘Let’s change toilet’ training is being organized by ‘Local Solution Fund’ throughout the country. Pit toilet is the main cause of soil pollution and pressing/critical issue for Mongolians, yet has not been solved over the years. Therefore the Fund is striving to find proper solution and experiment it in practice.
Organizers emphasized that the main aim of the training is to create new toilet models suitable for local condition through introducing other countries’ experiences including re-using silt from waste water treatment plants in eco-friendly way and making operations of toilet facilities efficient.
The training is being attended by representatives from local administrations and businessmen. If each household takes action and changes toilet, it will lead to reduced soil pollution and healthy, they noted.
