Premier receives Kazakhstani Ambassador on threshold of 25th anniversary of diplomatic ties
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Prime Minister J.Erdenebat received Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia K.Koblandin on Monday. Noting that the bilateral relations are turning 25 in the coming year, PM J.Erdenebat expressed his satisfaction with the accomplishment in the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
He extended congratulations on the 25th jubilee of the Independence of Kazakhstan.
The Premier also informed that Minister of Labor and Social Welfare N.Nomtoibayar MP has been appointed the chair of the Mongolian part of the Mongolia-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission, and expressed his hope that the sides would convene a commission meeting in the most convenient time.
The business forum held in Ulaanbaatar last October was a role model action for boosting the bilateral ties in trade, investment and economy, noted the Ambassador. The latter added that the Expo 2017 to take place in Astana next June will bring together representatives of 105 countries, and hoped that Mongolia, likewise would be taking part in this exhibition to present its culture and heritages.
The dignitaries touched upon matters of strengthening bilateral ties in trade, economy, and public diplomacy.
