Gashuunsukhait Terminal Is a Customs Control Zone for Mining Products, Now

Ulaanbaatar, August 20, 2024 /MONTSAME/. A 74-hectare area belonging to "Tavantolgoi Railway" LLC, located in Khanbogd soum of Umnugobi aimag, near the Gashuunsukhait border checkpoint, has been registered as a customs control zone designated for the loading and unloading of mining products, under the Order No. A/428 of the Director General of the Mongolian Customs General Administration(MCGA).
The transshipment terminal allows the transfer of containerized cargo, transported by rail from the Tavantolgoi deposits, from rail to truck, or from rail to rail. The facility provides a 24/7 one-stop service for storage, document processing related to export transportation, and payment transactions, as reported by the Ministry of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia.
