Ceremony Dedicated to Anniversary Takes Place in Berlin
To the 50th Anniversary of Establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Germany
Ulaanbaatar, February 6, 2024/MONTSAME/. An Honoring
Ceremony dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations
between Mongolia and the Federal Republic of Germany was held in Berlin, Germany
on January 31, 2024.
The Honoring Ceremony started with playing the National
Anthems of the two countries by the Band of the German Armed Forces, and Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Federal Republic of
Germany Mandakhbileg Birvaa and Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office
of the Federal Republic of Germany Tobias Lindner greeted the guests.
Ambassador Mandakhbileg officially announced that at the
invitation of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, the President of the
Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier will pay a State Visit to
Mongolia on February 7-8, 2024.
Having noted the importance of this State Visit, the Minister
of State expressed his delight at visiting Mongolia as a delegate of the Visit.
Ambassador Mandakhbileg introduced the post stamp dedicated to the 50th
anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the
Federal Republic of Germany and handed the stamp to Minister of State Tobias Lindner.
The ceremony was attended by over 200 distinguished guests from the political and defense, economic, culture, and science sectors of Germany and representatives of individuals and entities that made valuable contributions to the relations between the two countries. During the ceremony, ethnic and classical music groups from Mongolia and Germany presented their unique performance, and a digital photography exhibition on the two countries' political relations was displayed.
