Railway Tickets: Refunds Now Available Anytime

Ulaanbaatar, November 6, 2023 /MONTSAME/. To enhance passenger convenience, tickets purchased on the eticket.ubtz.mn website and the "UBTZ Ticket-UBTZ ticket" app can now be refunded at any time.
You can cancel your ticket up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure of the train by sending a refund request on the eticket.ubtz.mn website or the UBTZ Ticket app. A 10 percent cancellation fee will be deducted from the ticket fare, and the remaining amount will be refunded to your account within five working days. If you need to cancel your ticket within 24 hours of the scheduled departure, you can contact the hotline 1900-1949 or visit the nearest ticket office.
Passengers can cancel a refund request if the ticket status is "pending." However, once the request is in "review" mode, cancellation is no longer possible. For minors, ticket refunds must be requested by a parent or guardian, and the refund will be credited to the parent or guardian's account.
When collecting or canceling tickets, passengers must clearly provide their information, including contact phone numbers and account details. This ensures accurate processing of ticket transactions.
