COVID-19: 649 new cases, two deaths reported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Ministry of Health reported that 649 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the past 24 hours. Specifically, 465 cases were reported in Ulaanbaatar city, with 174 cases in rural aimags and 10 imported cases.


It was also reported that two COVID-19 related death has been reported, raising the country’s death toll to 2,001. Currently, 4,090 people are receiving hospital treatment for COVID-19 whilst 10,510 people with mild symptoms of COVID-19 are being isolated at home.

 

Of the total patients currently undergoing treatment at hospitals, there are 1,020 patients in mild, 2,560 in serious, 474 in critical, and 36 in very critical conditions. 

 

As of today, the coverage of 1st dose is 69.7 percent (2,266,992) and 2nd dose – 66.6 percent (2,166,296) of the total population. Moreover, 936,906 people (28.8 percent) have received 3rd dose or a booster shot of COVID-19 vaccines nationwide.
