Mongolia elected as member of IPDC Intergovernmental Council

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 41st
session of the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific
and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is taking place on November 9-24.
Mongolia has been elected as a
member of the Intergovernmental Council of the UNESCO International Programme
on Development of Communication (IPDC) during the session. Kh.Naranjargal,
Chairwoman of the Mongolian National Committee on the IPDC, will represent
Mongolia in the council between 2021 and 2025.
IPDC, which aims at promoting
the development of mass media in developing countries, was created by the
UNESCO General Conference in 1980 as an intergovernmental body.
